St. Lucia The Roof is On Fire

Classification modeling to determine quality of rooftops in Dennery, St. Lucia to help prioritize roof repairs and preparation for Hurricane Season.

Pro-bono project for World Bank’s Global Program for Resilient Housing, created convolutional neural network to model drone image data that identified and classified rooftop quality for disaster preparation in St. Lucia.

The drone image data was provided to us by the client. We used a CNN model in Tensorflow hosted on AWS to run the model.
